Ladybridge Leisure Centre is excited to be working in conjunction with Bolton Wanderers Community Trust (BWCT). BWCT provide FREE quality sport provision and engagement with the local community aiming to inspire people and raise aspirations.
Experienced coaches from BWCT are running a variety of FREE sports sessions for children aged 12 to 18 every Wednesday evening 7-8.30pm in the Leisure Centre’s sports hall. The sessions give children a chance to try different sports, which include fitness, wrestling, table tennis and dodgeball.
Ladybridge Leisure Centre’s new 3G full sized pitch is also hosting the Football Foundation’s flagship community programme ‘Premier League Kicks’.
Kicks started in 2006 and has a long history of using the power of football and the value of sports participation to help hard-to-reach youngsters in some of the most high-need areas.
The session is for ages 12-17 and is run by BWCT. The qualified football coaches work with the young people to develop their football skills and supporting them to play games. All sessions are completely FREE and take place on Monday evenings 7-9pm.
